Yay for inconsistent face styles!

This was an entry for a contest on Gaia for Deesasturr Femme of her warrior dragon/elf character. I'm new to the Gaia contests, but I know there are some *extremely* talented people on there, so I figured I needed to make a picture that stood out. No simple standing or sitting pictures kind of thing.

So I came up with this, kind of a freeze frame right before she brings that scythe through somebody's torso. And she's kind of running at them. I'm not sure I pulled it off, though I do love(LOVE) everything from the neck down, whether it's correct or not. The face.. well. Let's not talk about it. x)

I couldn't find a good 3d reference for the horns, so I had to make them out of some modeling clay. I've never sculpted before, but I think those horns came out better than these. xD

I won third with it, though, so I'm very happy. I would very much like to do more Gaia-related things, because 1) it's practicing humans, and 2) there's usually some great costume design involved, which I love.
